Help on: Overview and Guided Tour

If you are working with Global Payments Plus (GPP) for the first time or have questions about individual steps in the application, we recommend taking a look at the Guided Tour.

The GPP overview page shows you a list of orders that are ready for signature as well as those you signed and any that have not yet been completed. You will also see balance information for your accounts from statements and the programme will indicate the presence of new account statements and pre-booked items.

For an explanation of specific elements within the form, simply click the number and marker that correspond to that element.

New orders waiting for signature: Here you will be shown the number of orders ready for signature for all bank accesses. Clicking the number will take you directly into the list of orders ready for signature where you can either approve or cancel the orders accordingly.

If an error occurs during the retrieval of orders ready for signature (e.g. if communication with a bank's computer system is disrupted), this is indicated by a warning icon. Use the information icon to have the time of the last retrieval request displayed for each bank access.

Orders ready for signature will only be displayed if you use your signature stick to open GPP. If you access GPP via another browser without a signature function, you will see a message at this point indicating that a limited range of functions are available. Other information about using GPP without a signature stick and the browsers supported can be found here.

Pending orders: Here you will see orders you submitted or signed which are still awaiting signatures from other users. Clicking the number will take you directly into the list of pending orders where you can follow their current processing status.

Statements since last login: Here you will see the number of new account statements and pre-booked items since your last visit in GPP for all accounts you are authorised to display. Click the number to go to the account overview.

Here you will also see the total balance of all accounts. This amount is calculated based on the book balance from your most recent account, for Commerzbank domestic accounts (DE) the actual real-time balance is used.

Display permission for accounts from statements is administered in the Administration function of the respective bank access under Account Display.

Preferred currency to calculate the total balance: Specify here which currency should be used to display the total balance for all accounts from statements.

Messages: GPP displays current system messages here. These could be intended for different recipients and can also be deleted once the user has taken note of them.

The following message recipients are currently supported:

  • System-wide message to all users in GPP (e.g. about upcoming maintenance work)
  • Messages to all customers who have bank accesses at a specific bank (e.g. about disruptions)
  • Messages to all users of a specific customer (e.g. about non-execution of an order)
  • Messages for a specific bank access (e.g. to configure a company's details following initialisation)
  • Messages to a specific user (e.g. about the availability of export files)

If important messages are available, a brief notification to this effect will also be displayed after the user has logged in to Global Payment Plus.

Activity of your monitored accounts: For this section you can specify a maximum of 15 of the accounts which you are authorised to display to monitor changes in their balances on the overview page. The chart display represents changes in an account's balances over the past 30 calendar days. Clicking the chart will also take you directly to the desired account statement.

This displays a table of the desired orders with the book balance from the most recent account statement. For Commerzbank domestic accounts (DE), the current real-time balance is displayed instead. The delta change since last login for each account balance is displayed right under the current balance.

Settings for your monitored accounts: Click here to define which of your accounts with display permission should appear on the overview page. You can specify a maximum of 15 accounts. See the account overview for a list of accounts which you are authorised to display. If you did not select any accounts to monitor, GPP will automatically select the first 15 accounts from your active bank accesses.

PIN change: Change the PIN for your signature card here.

This area will only be displayed if you use your signature stick to open GPP.

Display current exchange rates: Click here to open the list of current exchange rates used by GPP for calculating the total balance, etc.
